Spring Garden Refresh

It’s time to refresh the garden and clean out the planters.

It’s that time of year again…time to get the garden ready for Spring! I am soo ready for the planting to begin this year. All of the serious garen structure is finished, and it’s time to fill in the garden with flowers and shrubs. I added hollies last year to replace the lost boxwoods and they are going strong. I promised an update on the new ‘disease resistant’ boxwoods I bought in Asheville—they are going strong. We filled the hayrack planters with new liners and new soil. I realized they had not been replaced since 2020! I think this proves the liners last longer than one year. The fountain is flowing and all the beds are clean and ready for the new season. Get out in your garden now and start preparing for the NEW season. We all need a good refresh this Spring!

The widow boxes are getting new liners and new soil.

My little intern is back and working hard..

Ready to plant when the weather permits.

The fountain has been cleaned and filled—love the sound.

Time to refresh the blueberries and strawberries too.

All of these herbs made it through the winter!

The rosemary is doing great in this planter—the rest is for tomatoes and basil.

Ready for Spring!
