Easter Chocolate Nest Time!

It’s that time of year again.

Gather all of your ingredients and let’s get started.

It’s Easter and time for those lovely little Cadbury eggs to make an appearance in my kitchen.. These little eggs are the most beautiful pastel colors—be sure to buy the Milk chocolate ones. We made the mistake of buying the dark chocolate ones last Easter and they are NOT pretty colors. Children love the milk chocolate and this is all for them…maybe a few for me. The recipe is so simple—melt the chocolate, add the chowmein noodles and form nests on parchment paper. “Glue” the eggs in with the syrup of your choice and let them dry. Your little ones will thank you for your efforts by eating them all.

I love these little cuties.

Melt che chocolate—can also be melted in the microwave.

Drop them on parchment paper and use a syrup to ‘glue’ in the eggs.

Enjoy all your hard work!photo
