6 Amazing Gardens—Part One

The playhouse of any child’s dreams.

This years Mountains in Bloom garden tour in Highlands featured everything from a pink-sized playhouse with a working fireplace to a party barn with an amazing waterfall. One of the gardens was even created after a hurricane flooded and devastated the property. During the clean up the landscape architect Jim Tate decided to install abundant water features. Park-like areas with pools and waterfalls are connected by bridges and stone paths. Beautiful garden structures, patios and porches filled the gardens and just might inspire you to find a home for one in your garden. Enjoy the lush greenery in these gardens—Part 2 in the works. Enjoy!
