Charleston for the Weekend

One of my favorites.

Weekend—what a wonderful word! On one glorious Fall weekend, we found ourselves in Charleston and decided to take a little guided street tour. What can you do in Charleston for an hour? House hunting was the answer! We headed to the Historic area for a guided tour. The weather was perfect, and the gardens were still lush and green.

This weekend, why not take a little road trip to Charleston and enjoy the beauty of the historic area by car or on foot? Be sure to stop by Slightly North of Broad or Cru Cafe for a little snack or a full meal. Enjoy the tour!

Loving this green and that balcony.

Creeping fig is everywhere in Charleston—wish I could grow it here.

Dramatic planters are everywhere.

So charming!

What an inviting walkway.

These old bricks are stunning, as are the doors.

What a sweet shade of green—love the creeping fig on the stairs.

Charmer on the corner.

This entry would be my dream drive.
