Laundry — Think Pink!

Can we add stripes guys?

Oh, I LOVE a good project! The laundry room is getting a fresh new look for the New Year. Pink says elegance, strength, and friendship—what a perfect choice for my laundry room makeover. I have been looking for the perfect pink…not too Pepto and not too peach. I found it in Benjamin Moore’s ‘Tissue Pink.’

Next will be a fabric to skirt the cabinets and maybe a valance for the window. I found a rug on Instagram and have called Myers in Atlanta for a sample—thanks MaryOrton.

At the last minute, I asked the guys to paint stripes on the ceiling—and told them not to hate me. My excuse was that I was sick with that horrible cold thing and forgot to tell them. I even painted the inside of the cabinets and the closet—well, the guys did.

I also decided to repair and repaint the stairs—when the workers are here, get it all done. Check back soon for the finished project—Barbie would be proud!

The walls were a green to match the hall wallpaper.

This all turned pink overnight.

The 4″ stripe was perfect.

I decided to repair and repaint the stairs too.

These stairs are one-of-a kind crazy.

Still loving my Ben Moore Palladian Blue paint.
